Section A
Practical Spirituality 100 (6 semester units)

Notes
Each affiliated center has discretion to determine appropriate classes to offer under this section. Courses could embrace topics such as advanced studies in spiritual principles, mental equivalent, spiritual mind treatment, meditation and others which focus on treatment in applying spiritual principles to life’s journey.
Section B
Science of Mind Courses (18 semester units)
Notes
Each affiliated center has the discretion to determine appropriate courses to offer under this section . Courses could include topics such as World Religions, New Thought Bible Interpretation, meditation, New Thought Philosophers, The Life and Times of the Great Masters.
Section C
Knowledge Courses (40 semester units)
(Section C and D courses can be interchanged at the discretion of the affiliated center. Often, the specific course of study may fall into either category.)
Notes
This section could include courses of study already completed by the student at a secular or private college. (e.g. AA degrees of which 40 of the typical 60 units would apply to Section C and 20 would apply to Section D). Knowledge courses generally include courses that provide information about a specific New Thought concept, religion, philosophical idea or biography. Includes courses of study developed using themes of published books focusing on New Thought beliefs.
Section D
Self-Actualization Classes (40 semester units)
(Section C and D courses can be interchanged at the discretion of the affiliated center. Often, the specific course of study may fall into either category.)
Notes
This section could include courses already completed by the student at secular or private colleges. (See Section C notes)
Courses which enhance the individual’s inner development are emphasized. Subjects include higher consciousness, prosperity, meditation, Zen, self-awareness, relationship, leadership and other related subjects.
Section E
Project/Professional Paper (4 semester units)
Notes
The professional paper must consist of 25 to 50 pages whose theme focuses on its application to New Thought. Guidelines will be sent to the student. Fee of $75. per unit must be submitted with the final paper or project for review and evaluation. Prior approval of the paper or project is necessary and final will be placed in the student’s file.

Written and Oral Examinations
